Bentley

We picked up our new puppy, Bentley, on Sunday, July 31st! He is so cute and cuddly and it's a good things he is because being with him all day can be exhausting. We figured getting a puppy right before having a baby was crazy but we wanted Weston to grow up with a dog and couldn't resist this little panda puppy.

I am learning how to handle so much right now with getting things ready for the baby, being pregnant, practicing cooking, baking, cleaning, tutoring, and trying to train a puppy in 10 weeks! I also can't believe that in about 10 weeks I will be a mommy and have a precious baby boy to raise. God has given us so many blessings and I want to use what He has entrusted us with to glorify Him. I am praying all the time for our baby and that He will give us the wisdom we need as parents to raise him to serve and love God. I am also trying to remember to pray for all those other parents out there who are expecting or already have little ones. We just watched an awesome parenting series from Saddleback Church so if you have kids or plan on someday having them you should definitely watch! It is a series of 5 sermons.

Valentine's Day Auction!

Our school had a Valentine's Day Auction and I created art projects for the students to make and sell. Our class project turned out so cute! I took pictures of each child pretending to hold a balloon and then cut them out. Each child made a balloon with one of the Fruits of the Spirit written in it. They painted a background and then wrote down things they loved in the hill on their painting. I love making up projects for the kids and I was amazed at how well the two youngest students did on their flower paintings!

As you can see, we really liked the photo booth :) It was hilarious!

It's Wedding Season!

We had a blast at our friend's wedding a few weekends ago! It's been a blast to hang out with friends in OC and dancing at weddings is always so much fun!

1 Year Anniversary!!!

So this weekend we celebrated our first anniversary! We went to the Island Hotel in Newport which is where we stayed on our wedding night! They made us a delicious anniversary dessert and it was ready in our room when we got there! We woke up at 4am to watch Holland play in the World Cup on Saturday then we relaxed by the pool and sipped iced tea (so nice!). Saturday night was Kelly and Bobby's wedding and it was beautiful and a blast! It was cool to go to a wedding the night before our anniversary and we had so much fun dancing! We drank the champagne our friend Dom gave us for our wedding to celebrate and it was amazing! On Sunday we hung out by the pool and went to Cheesecake Factory before heading back to Santa Barbara! It was a wonderful weekend and I am so thankful for my amazing husband and the blessing he is in my life :)

Memorial Day Weekend!

We had an amazing Memorial Day weekend! Karissa, Candida, Will and Danny came up to visit and we basically went to the beach every day and played Bocce! We also had a barbecue at Kim's place after church on Sunday and it was a blast! On Monday, I went with the girls to a chalk art event at the mission where they had music, dancing, food and amazing art work (done with only sidewalk chalk)! Here are some pics of our fun weekend!
